‘Castle’ Season 4 Episode 23 ‘Always’ Preview: Castle and Beckett in the Finale

Castle‘s fourth season comes to an end next week with episode 23, “Always.” Will this be the episode that fans of Castle and Beckett have been waiting for? How will its ending compare to last season’s?

There has been a lot of speculation that his episode could be the one where Castle and Beckett finally get together. All signs seem to be pointing that way, especially after you take a look at the preview that has been released for it. At this point, it would be more surprising if they didn’t share a kiss by the end of the episode. But will something else happen to eclipse that?

The Castle season 4 episode 23 promo for the finale “Always” (below) begins with Castle telling Beckett she’s not alone, and she takes his hand. Beckett’s investigation into her mother’s murder has taken a major turn and she has found out something big. However, Castle warns her she has to stop because they’ll kill her if she doesn’t. Yes, secrets are coming out all over the place in this episode. He tells her those three words again—”I love you”—but will that be enough to get her to stop? It doesn’t look like it. Also coming up in the finale are explosions, fights on roofs, and what looks like the moment everyone’s been waiting for. Castle opens his door to find Beckett on the other side and it looks like she’s going in for a kiss. But will they kiss, or will something stop them? Will that just be a tease for fans? Will the season leave off on a cliffhanger concerning their relationship?
