Did you see the live elimination round of The Voice tonight? In a strange twist, The Muppets took over the stage for a short while, led by no other than the delightfully twisted CeeLo Green. Fozzy Bear and members of the Electric Mayhem sat in the coaches’ chairs while CeeLo and Kermit had some fun “Bein Green.”

Gonzo took the place of Carson Daly, the Electric Mayhem took over the coaches’ chairs and Kermit the Frog and CeeLo Green were rocking out to “Bein Green” at the piano.

Kermit was his usual froggy self, but CeeLo outdid himself in a glass studded hat and matching vest. He had to search long and hard to find a hat like that. You could have hung him from the ceiling and used him as a disco ball. But you need a big outfit to outstage that famous little frog. It might not be easy being green, but Kermit rocks the house in green. Did you miss it? No problem, here is the “Bein Green” clip:

What did you think of Kermit and the rest of The Muppets taking over the The Voice? Was Miss Piggy the biggest diva of them all? Leave a comment and start a discussion.
