Chief Keep has become one of the most known underground rappers right now.
However, it wasn’t because he had any large number of years of work behind him or numerous albums/mixtapes, rather it was because Kanye West remixed one of his songs. Chief Keep, Chicago rapper, had a song called “I don’t like” which was remixed by Kanye West and his G.O.O.D. music crew which included Pusha T and Big Sean.
However, the rapper doesn’t think that is what him known. According to a report, Chief Keef went on his Twitter account to his 165k followers and tweeted that Kanye West “ain’t do [expletive] for me.” The tweet continued by saying “Hoppin on da song wasn’t enuff I made myself hot #300 all by myself.”
Much of the Twitter was taken by shock at Keef’s tweets and he received much backlash. Kanye West hasn’t made any statement or comments to Keef’s tweets as of yet. It’s unclear whether he will. Make no mistake about it, Keef’s popularity soared once West remixed the track, which caused other big stars such as T.I., the Game and Chris Brown to also hop on the track. Why Chief Keef would tweet such comments makes no sense.
