Chris Brown, The Game Music Video Shoot Armed Robbery

A producer, working on a new music video for The Game and Chris Brown, was robbed at gunpoint during the video shoot. Mars, the producer, lost about $12,000 in cash and jewelry.

TMZ and Fox News reports that during the video shoot, Mars and a friend walked out about a block away from the set in South Los Angeles to go sit in his car. Two black male suspects approached Mars and his friend and made off with the producer’s wallet and jewelry. There were no witnesses.

Chris Brown and The Game were both on set at the time, though neither was in the area of the armed robbery. Will Brown be questioned for being near the incident, although the line of questions would be unfair? Some will ask what type of people Chris is hanging around.

Brown has been both one of the hottest R&B acts but has also had a series of incidents that have led many to question whether the Look at Me Now singer has worked on his anger problems. Brown faced a domestic violence charge for beating his former girlfriend, Rihanna. He later exploded in the green room after a visit to Good Morning America after being questioned about the Rihanna incident.

Luckily, for The Game and Chris Brown, neither was in the area when the armed robbery took place. As for Mars and his friend, both are lucky that they are just replacing cash and some jewelry. Things could have been a lot worse.
