Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns NFL Prediction

Despite Carson Palmer’s 71.4 quarterback rating, the Bengals are still 2-1 this year.  The Browns are coming off a close loss to the Ravens. The Battle of Ohio should make for an interesting game this Sunday.  The Bengals have won eight games in a row against divisional opponents according to ESPN.

Keys for the Bengals to win:

Carson Palmer must be effective through the air.  With an array of talented receivers, there is no excuses for him to struggle.  Running back Cedric Benson is averaging 3.1 yards per carry this year.  He will need to have a solid game for the Bengals to get the win.  Defensively, they will need to tighten up on defending the run.

Keys for the Browns to win:

The Browns must utilize running back Peyton Hillis early and often. Hillis had 22 carries for 144 yards against a stout Ravens defense. They will also try to utilize Josh Cribbs and Seneca Wallace in Wildcat packages.  Defensively, Cleveland must create turnovers to have a chance to beat the Bengals.

Prediction: The Bengals slide by on the road.  Overall, this has the making for a close game.  Predicted Score: CIN 17 – CLE 14
