Country Music Awards 2010 results – ACM Awards 2010 winners list

Several of country music’s stars scored big at the Country Music Awards 2010 ceremony on Sunday night including Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood.  Miss Underwood won her second straight “Entertainer of the Year” award, a feat no other performer in the history of ACM Awards 2010 winners has pulled off.  In addition, Underwood received the Triple Crown Award for winning Entertainer of the Year, Top Female Vocalist and Top New Female Vocalist during her ACM nominations.  Barbara Mandrell is the only other female to do so in the history of the ACM awards.

Brook and Dunn took home the Top Vocal Duo Award for what appears to be their final year as a duo.  The two man group announced they would be splitting up last year, after they complete a farewell tour in 2010, the Last Rodeo Tour.

Lady Antebellum won a total of five awards on the night including single record of the year and song of the year.  Miranda Lambert also won big with her two awards, as did Brad Paisley who took home Male Vocalist award for his fourth straight year.  He’s the only artist to win it three or more times.

The 45th annual Academy of Country Music Awards show was televised on CBS and hosted by Reba McEntire, who has now hosted 12 years.
