‘Dancing with the Stars’ Season 15 to be All-Star Edition, says Mario Lopez

If actor Mario Lopez is on the up and up, Dancing with the Stars season 15 will feature the stuff of dreams for longtime fans of the hit reality show: an all-star cast boasting the best celebrity hoofers of all time.

Mario, who along with pro partner and ex-girlfriend Karina Smirnoff finished in second place at the close of DWTS season 3, spilled the super secret beans during an appearance on Live! With Kelly. He dished to the perky blonde, “They’re doing an… [DWTS] All-Stars [show] this next season. They called me to do it.” But will he take producers up on the offer? Not necessarily.

So who else should get the call? All of the past winners are easy picks, of course, but a slate of non-winners who could’ve—and arguably should’ve—won Mirrorball glory would be even more interesting. Who to include? Hottie actor Gilles Marini, who finished season 8 second to Olympian Shawn Johnson following an excruciatingly tight vote should be a shoo-in. Also an easy-ask is Sabrina Bryan, whose season 5 dismissal provided one of the most shocking moments in the show’s history.

Other non-winner possibilities include figure skater Evan Lysacek, Spice Girl Mel B, singer Mya, and actress Kirstie Alley.

Keep watching for casting details! Dancing with the Stars season 15 should air this Fall on ABC.
