Daniel Craig and His Bond Girls Do ‘SNL’

Daniel Craig and his Bond girls provided a semi-hilarious sketch for viewers on this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live. Did you catch Craig as this week’s SNL host?

According to a report from Just Jared, several of the SNL cast members parodied former Bond girls, and truth be told—they were funnier than James Bond himself. Craig tried—he really did, but he simply isn’t cut out to play a funny manDaniel Craig.

Nasim Pedrad was probably the funniest of all the cast members during her parody of Lea Michele. Unable to stop singing and dancing during a very serious part in the sketch, she kept the laughs coming.

Fred Armisen’s parody of Penny Marshall ran a very close second place, however, as he (she) lolled on a bed and in many ways actually resembled the former Laverne & Shirley character.

How would you rate Daniel Craig as an SNL host? It seems as host he was excellent. His demeanor is completely befitting a host’s job. However when moving from host to comedian in the sketches, he earned a C+ at best.

Do you agree or disagree?
