The Ustream Live Decorah Eagles cam in Iowa on Day 6 continues with the addition of E3. Yes, the final bald eagle egg was hatched yesterday. Join today’s chat to see mom and pop hard at work keeping the chirping babies full of grub.
Thanks to the Raptor Resource Project (RRP) and Ustream.TV Live, over 23 million viewers tuned in to watch the last addition of the three eggs hatched. With the arrival of E3, Eagle Manor is even busier.
Today began with mom doing a bit of house-cleaning to tidy things up for E3’s bedroom. She also had to make sure the house was in order for the forecast of an 80% chance of rain. No worries; Decorah bald eagles in Iowa are built to withstand the rain.
Daily, a new chat will take place to chronicle the lives of the family of five bald eagles, using the technology provided by Ustream.TV Live. With the Decorah Eagles cam, every moment is captured (minus technical difficult) as the world watches the chicks fledge and take flight.
Be sure to spread the word to other avid bald eagle bird-watchers who want to take part in history. A new chat will take place every day to recap the day’s events at Eagle Manor.
