I need help.
Book Two of my erotic romance series, Sinners on Tour, is deep in revisions. It won’t be released until April… of 2011, but I need a title for it by this Monday (April 12, 2011). A GOOD title. My publisher doesn’t like my proposed title. It’s not “intimate and evocative” enough. I have some ideas, but two heads are better than one. So five or ten heads must be really good. Right?
So, I’m in desperate need of title ideas. I prefer something that has something to do with the book, or with rock stars, in general. If you have any ideas, PLEASE, share them. If my publisher chooses the title you suggest, you’ll get glowing praise in the book’s Acknowledgements section. I’ll even send you a signed copy when the book is released next year.
The first book is titled “Backstage Pass”. Here’s the cover, to hopefully get those title ideas flowing.
I’d love to come up with another title that screams “rock stars” and “fun”, but all ideas are welcome. The hero and heroine frequently engage in sex in public locations, specifically tourist attractions. So a tie-in to that would be excellent, too.
Here’s a short synopsis, so you know what the book is about:
Sinners on Tour Book 2 – Short Synopsis
Two years ago, Jessica Chase shredded Sed’s heart when she threw her engagement ring at him and left without a backwards glance. Since then, he’s tried to forget her by screwing any woman who will have him. It’s no use. Sed still loves Jessica and she obviously didn’t think a dirt-poor, struggling rock vocalist met her high standards. So why is Ms. Holier-Than-Thou stripping at Las Vegas club? Seeing her there, with all those men gawking at her, wanting her, touching her, sends Sed into a jealous rage. Jessica belongs to him. Always has, always will.
And now that his band—Sinners—has attained huge success, Sed has more cash than an armored truck. Surely, that will make her see him in a different light.
Two years ago, Sed Lionheart pressed an infuriating ultimatum on Jessica—give up her life-long dream of becoming a lawyer or his love. Heart-broken, she made her choice and ended their engagement. Since then, she’s tried to forget him by avoiding men entirely. It’s no use. Jessica still hates Sed and knows one mere woman will ever satisfy his over-inflated ego or insatiable sexual appetite. So why is Mr. It’s-All-About-Me at the strip club where she’s working for the summer? And what gives him the right to yank her off the stage and thrust thousands of dollars at her in some egotistical attempt to prove she needs him to take care of her? She doesn’t need Sed. Never did, never will.
But she does want him. And who wouldn’t? The man is delicious—sexy, virile, and amazing in bed.
Thanks to Sed’s posturing, Jessica finds herself jobless, homeless, and desperate. She has no choice but to take a summer job that has her trapped on Sinners’ tour bus with the impossibly sexy jerk for two entire months. And, curse it all, the passion between them is hotter than ever.
Seeking revenge for her broken heart, Jessica convinces Sed to enter into a sex-only relationship with plans to hurt him as he hurt her.
Sed agrees to a benefits-with-benefits relationship, willing to do anything to convince Jessica she’s the only woman for him. If only that bitter fan girl hadn’t recorded their explicit public display of affection at Las Vegas’s Eiffel Tower and posted the video across the internet. Her reputation in ruins, Jessica fears she’ll be expelled from law school and Sed’s concerned that she will never trust him again. But as they spend time together, working as a team, Jessica starts to see Sed in a new light. He’s changed in the two years since they parted. But has he grown enough to let Jessica retain her independence and share his spotlight, center stage?
