Detroit Lions Ndamukong Suh: Villian or Scapegoat?

The Detroit Lions Ndamukong Suh is one of the best defensive tackles in the NFL, but he is upset at the way the NFL and the media is portraying him. Suh met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell today to clarify questions about his play and the game.

You see, Suh is so concerned about his reputation and to prove he is not a dirty player that he arranged to meet with the NFL commissioner. Suh requested the session with the commissioner to talk about the flags and fines he has received over the past two seasons.

From what Suh has said after the meeting, it seems to have gone well.

“I have gained a better understanding how I need to continue to play the game to help my team win,” Suh said in a statement. “I look forward to the rest of the season and doing everything we can to bring the Lombardi Trophy to Detroit.”

There seems to be a fine line in the NFL when it comes to these things. Many fans will say they wish they had a guy like Suh, or Baltimore’s Ray Lewis on their team, yet when you have to face them, it’s a different story.

The Detroit Lions have not had a playoff team in years. Many years… just ask fans in Detroit. They have embraced Suh’s hard work ethic and determination. But is Suh really a dirty player?
