Dexter‘s sixth season ended with Debra in love with her brother, but then she saw him kill. That can change things, and everyone’s been waiting to see what happens when she finally finds out who Dexter really is. That’s what’s coming up when the series returns on September 30 at 9 p.m.
Dexter Season 7 Promo
So what happens now? How much will Dexter tell Deb? What will she do now that she has seen her brother kill? In the new preview released, it gets very intense, and not everyone may make it to the end of this season alive and off Dexter’s table. But will the Morgans’ relationship ever be the same?
The new Dexter season 7 trailer (below) begins right where season 6 left off. Deb approaches Dexter and tells him to step away from the body. He tells her he “snapped” and she begins talking about getting him the best lawyer and saying he “had a moment of temporary insanity.” Dexter suggests they get rid of the body, and it looks like she goes along with it because they set a fire. However, it also looks like she regrets her decision later, as she tells him, “[doing what’s] right would be taking you in.” She is not going to be handling what happened well at all: “I will never be okay.” Can you blame her after what she saw and did? Will this be the end of her feelings for him?
However, that’s not the end of that. Deb is going to do some investigating, and it looks like she’s going to be the one to figure out just how many murders Dexter is responsible for because of that, not because of him telling her. But would she have been better off leaving it alone? It looks that way, as Dexter takes his syringe to her food. Uh-oh. Then you have the chilling Dexter voiceover: “The only thing worse than not knowing what she’ll do is not knowing what I’ll do.” Could Dexter really do something to Deb?
Deb’s not going to be the only one onto him. LaGuerta is going to realize something’s up as well, as she’ll find a blood slide when the police go through the remains of the fire. Only the Bay Harbor Butcher ever took blood slides. Dexter made a mistake. It’s not looking good for him this season. Will he reach his limit?
What do you think of the latest Dexter season 7 preview?
