Dill Potato Wedges – Recipe

These delicious potatoes are perfect with grilled steak, chicken or ribs.  Grilling season is just around the corner!

Preheat oven to 425


  • 4 medium potatoes*
  • 1 ½ Tab. Melted butter (margarine)
  • 1 ½ Tab. Cooking oil
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • ¼ tsp. Pepper, or to taste
  • Paprika – light sprinkle
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder or garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. Dill weed



Mix all seasonings together in a small bowl.

Peel potatoes, then cut crosswise (rounds) into 3/8 inch slices.

Lay slices on a baking sheet.

Pour mixture of melted butter and oil over potatoes.

Sprinkle with mixture of salt, pepper, dill weed, garlic powder and paprika.

Bake at 425, flipping potatoes occasionally until tender and golden brown on both sides – about 15 to 20 minutes.

*Short cut method: Use frozen potato wedges.

Serve hot - May be refrigerated and reheated.   Serves 4… or 2 really hungry people.
