PROMPT: A LOVE STORY, 100 WORDS OR LESS USING THE WORDS LETTUCE AND LUSH

 

 

DINNER AT THE RITZ

The evening began at the finest of restaurants, he in a blue blazer and open neck white shirt, she in a clingy satin dress, red as her body heat.

First the wine, a decadent, costly cabernet, and then the pink shrimps, cold and succulent, their fingers touched as they lifted each miracle to the others lips.

The soup was a lush French Onion. They hardly touched it; eyes only tuned to the lust and want that coursed through their bodies.

After the Caesar salad she leaned forward breathing warmth across the settings and said, “You have lettuce between your teeth.”
