Yes. Series. We’ve known for ages now, but time has done little to heal this particular wound. Dollhouse is due to air its final episode tomorrow, in effect lying down to die on a Friday night, as any proper sci-fi show should. As much as I’d like to sit here and gripe over the loss (and I’d really like to), there are three short clips of the episode to drool over and that takes precedence.
It seems “Epitaph Two: The Return” continues the Season 2 tradition of cramming unholy masses of awesome into comparatively teeny 42-minute confines (Remember those extended episodes in the first season? As vital as it was to have eight extra minutes of Echo not wearing pants, I can’t help but imagine what the writers would do with that time now.). These scenes have plenty of room for the newbie Actuals to acquaint themselves with our regulars, plus we see Sierra and Victor butt heads, Adelle playing mother-BAMF, and Topher, poor guy, as he manages to incite a collective viewer sobfest. All this and more, in less than four minutes. There are a few small notes I’m not crazy about, but it’s impossible to judge before the episode airs- too many blanks need filling.
Enjoy the clips!
