Donald Trump Has Plans for 2012

Donald Trump, the multi-billionaire mogul and star of The Apprentice says he’s considering a run at the 2012 presidential election. Though he’s  made these kind of comments in the past without following through, the seriousness in his attitude as of late seems authentic. Donald Trump would be an entertaining candidate to say the least.

Earlier this afternoon, February 10, 2011, Donald Trump spoke at the CPAC in D.C., injecting various comments about his thoughts on running for president:

“…the United States has become a whipping post for the rest of the world and America today is missing quality leadership,” said Trump. “I’m well acquainted with winning, and that’s what this country needs.”

It seemed that Donald Trump’s speech was focused entirely on his fame and his financial status as being the reasons for him being a successful president, and perhaps that isn’t a surprise for a Republican candidate. He boasted his numerous mentions in the media, including a comment made by Steve Forbes.

“Steve Forbes stated that I was one of the greatest entreprenuers in the history of free trade,” Donald Trump boasted during the CPAC event.
