Thank you Frank Herbert for all the wonderful times I had living in your universe . And to Brian Herbert and Kevin Anderson for finishing this incredible tour-de-force of science fiction writing.

For over 50 years in the making this trio of talent writers have push the envelope and created a universe rich in fantastic characters, concepts that had never been around before. Even after 50 years the original Dune seems as fresh and new as it was in the 60’s.

I believe the best way to read this series is to start with the first sixth books by Frank Herbert. If you hadn’t read this series you are in for one hell of a ride. The ideas are just as fresh today as when he first wrote this tale.

- Dune
- Dune Messiah
- Children of Dune

- God Emperor of Dune
- Heretics of Dune
- Chapterhouse: Dune

Then read the first prequel The Houses series. This is about the characters that come before Dune. Find out the reasons how Paul came to be at Dune. The characters really become alive.

- Dune: House Atreides
- Dune: House Harkonnen
- Dune: House Corrino

The the second prequel the Butlerian Jihad. “‘Thou shalt not make a machine in the likeness of a man’s mind”. Now find out why this came to pass.

- Dune: The Butlerian Jihad
- Dune: The Machine Crusade
- Dune: The Battle of Corrin

Then after read the climax of the series. Chapterhouse: Dune was a cliffhanger , with the author’s death, it looked like that was it. But thanks to Brian and Kevin, the end had arrive. And one great surprise after another.

- Hunters of Dune
- Sandworms of Dune

The Voice commands you to read this series.
