Police have ruled the death a homicide. It is unbelievable that this man died after the punch. However, it is completely unacceptable that a Burger King employee punched the elderly man so hard that he ended up dying from his injuries. The Wayne County medical examiner actually said that the cause of Paul Cannon’s death was blunt force trauma to the head.

Paul Cannon’s Cause of Death Not Dentures

Originally reports were that Cannon may have died because of his dentures. However, the medical examiner said that the dentures were not an issue and the cause of death was not choking on them. Apparently, Cannon actually started the fight and swung at the Burger King worker who ended up swinging back. The punch caused the man’s death unfortunately.

While it seems that Cannon may have started the disturbance, it doesn’t mean that it’s okay for the employee to have punched him to the point of death. It sounds like a terrible tragedy for everyone involved. Burger King cannot be enjoying the headlines from this homicide at their restaurant.
