On February 19, Spanish cinema’s prestigious Goya Awards took place in Madrid. Elena Anaya, who co-starred with Antonio Banderas in Pedro Almodovar’s La Piel que Habito, or, The Skin I Live In, walked the red carpet in a white gown.
Before the Room in Rome actress accepted her Best Actress award for the Pedro Almodovar film, Elena posed for fans, photographers, and Hola.com on the red carpet. Hola spotted Elena in a Grecian style, one-shoulder Lanvin gown. The beautiful, floor-length white number was cinched at the waist with a metallic belt. Her eagle necklace, seen on the Lanvin Spring 2012 show, was a fantastic piece of jewelry. However, it felt too heavy against Elena Anaya’s flowing gown.
Elena’s The Skin I Live In co-star and Goya Awards Best Actor nominee Antonio Banderas, attended the Goya Awards with Melanie Griffith. The actress’ red carpet attire looked more like a costume, than an awards gown. Sadly, her burgundy, floral-embellished coat and elaborate jewels did not spell style success.
