One of the first things that The Bachelorette fans probably asked themselves when it was confirmed that Emily Maynard and Jef Holm had broken up was whether she regretted not choosing Arie Luyendyk, Jr., with whom she had incredible chemistry and so much fun with. According to one report, not only does she regret not choosing the Indy race car driver, she’s jealous that Courtney Robertson is now dating him.

“When Emily saw that Arie was dating Courtney, she got a little jealous,” the source said.

“It kind of rubbed salt into the wounds for her because the relationship she had with Jeff didn’t work out and it was a tough decision for her to let Arie go. There was no doubt that the pair had an instant chemistry with one another and she was incredibly attracted to him,” the source continued.

Apparently, she regrets choosing Jef Holm over Arie Luyendyk, Jr. not only because she’s now left without a lifelong partner but also because the breakup means that she’s no longer in the spotlight.

According to the source, “Emily knew that being together in a celebrity relationship would keep her relevant – but now she’s concerned that people will just forget about her. That could be part of the reason she’s envious, because Arie is dating a fellow reality TV contestant.”

Whether or not this is true is anyone’s guess. The recent sighting of Emily Maynard having fun with NASCAR driver Jason White at a Carrie Underwood concert shows that she’s simply not sitting at home pining away for Arie Luyendyk, Jr. and being jealous of Courtney Robertson. With her beauty and seemingly sweet personality, she probably has no problem finding another “celebrity” to get together with if she really did want fame.
