Evander Holyfield, a heavyweight boxing champion, will experience a resurrection from the dead as he boxes 38-year-old Sherman “Tank” Williams on January 22. Ark Promotions is calling the boxing event “Redemption In America: The Journey Begins Now.”

Evander “The Real Deal” Holyfield, 48, has a remarkable record of (43-10-2, 28 KO’s). His opponent Williams will box with a record of (34-11-2, 19 KO’s). The highly anticipated match-up will be held as a Pay-Per-View event this Saturday night.

This event staring Evander Holyfield and Sherman Williams has been scheduled to take place three other times in November and December of last year. However, due to low ticket sales and no television station airing the sporting event, the matches were cancelled. Its all about publicity and hype, folks! Of course, a boxing match from the dead could not occur without fans! Right?

Now with a television pay-per-view contract, the ticket sales have improved greatly. Ark Promotions is happy to announce that ticket sales for the Evander Holyfield boxing match is high. The company stated, “Due to overwhelming demand, a limited number of additional Standard Packages have been made available.”

If you are interested in attending the boxing match, you can get a hotel fight weekend price for $1,150 at The Greenbrier Resort in West Virginia. If you would rather not spend the night, then your price would be $500.

If Evander Holyfield wins the pay-per-view boxing match, then he will begin his “Comeback of the Century” tour. Jose Sulaiman, WBC President, promised that Holyfield would be scheduled to fight Vitali Klitschko for the WBC Heavyweight championship.

Holyfield stated enthusiastically that he refuses to stop fighting “until he is undisputed heavyweight champion of the world.” Well, okay then hopefully Evander Holyfield will get his chance at the title after this Saturday night’s fight.
