Evangelina Paredes filed a lawsuit after a cop left her a note on her car asking her for a date just two days after he issued her a ticket. Stickney cop Chris Collins actually used the ticket to obtain her personal information, which Paredes felt was an invasion of her privacy. What do you think?

Evangelina Paredes Sues Cop for Asking for a Date After TicketThe letter Chris Collins left for Evangelina Paredes said, “It’s Chris … that ugly bald Stickney cop who gave you that ticket. I know this may seem crazy and you’re probably right, but truth is I have not stopped thinking about you since. I don’t expect a girl as attractive as you to … even go for a guy like me, but I’m taking a shot anyways. . . But hey, I did cost you $132 – least I can do is buy you dinner.”

The speeding ticket that Evangelina Paredes had to pay was for $132, but the unexpected date request really creeped her out, and she decided to file a lawsuit. In fact, she felt that Collins actually used his authority to stalk her and pressure her into going out on a date. Would you feel this way after an incident like this? Do you think that Collins meant it that way, or was he really just taking a chance and asking a beautiful girl out? You have to admit, it would be a little freaky to walk outside and find a note like that on your car just days after you were pulled over for speeding especially if you did not know the cop in any other capacity.
