FWE Cinquain ~ In frozen grace, love well

Filed in Gather Writing Essential by on January 15, 2011 0 Comments

Starry
cold-hewn sun turns
still beings to crystal

bloodless tears whisper in powder –
pad soft.

Wordless
in frozen grace

glassine knives slice open

bloodless leaves that in rev’rance shriek –
hush now.

Listen
for the sacred;
walk among the frozen,
know their hearts break in vain as you –
love well.
