Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White in “Once Upon a Time”

Ginnifer Goodwin has landed the role of Snow White in the upcoming ABC TV movie, Once Upon a Time. It definitely looks as if her great acting abilities and having porcelain skin tone helped her land the role.

Even though Ginnifer has been in numerous films, she is probably most widely known for her role as Margene Heffman from HBO’s Big Love. Goodwin’s career is doing well and she’s been a busy girl. Her next major movie film, Something Borrowed, will premiere in May.

Once Upon a Time is written by Lost’s Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis. Mark Mylod will direct the one-hour episode and Steve Pearlman will serve as an executive producer along with writers Horowitz and Kitsis.

ABC is hoping that adding a fairytale-type series, they will be able to broaden their viewership and add variety. Hopefully, they are right. There’s nothing quite like reminiscing on one’s childhood that brings back hopes and dreams. It will be interesting to see Ginnifer Goodwin’s version of Snow White in Once Upon a Time.
