Girl

My daughter will fit

perfectly between your tables, bed

and cabinets.

She will spread even

on your sleep

or under,

whatever you desire.

Perhaps her destiny connects yours

and I did not kill her for you.

Her sisters had no such luck.

They withered before their birth.

And we chanted- Come back as sons.

Come back as men.
