‘Glee': Lea Michele Talks Rachel’s Love Life and Cory Monteith

On Glee, fans see Lea Michele and Cory Monteith as a couple on-screen, but the couple is also together off-screen as well. They are still going strong off-screen even though Rachel and Finn went their separate ways in the season three finale. The actress talked about her on-screen romance and how she handles the speculation about her off-screen romance with her co-star.

Michele is great happy with the direction her character of Rachel Berry. Rachel will be headed to New York City to attend the NYADA in the fall. Michele is also quite happy with her character’s romantic life, but she did joke about who she would like Rachel to sleep with out of the previous guest stars that have appeared on the series. She said the following:

“Were Rachel to have a romance with a guest star, it would be a tie between Ricky Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, but I think she’s very happy in that department. I really loved her and Finn’s engagement and all the wedding stuff.”

Dating her co-star has put a lot of pressure on the young actress. It has caused increased speculation about her private life, and that is not something Michele is used to. She said the following about how she handles the rumors:

“Sometimes I just want to scream, ‘WHAT?! That’s not true!’ Hearing rumours about your personal life is a very strange part of this business, but it happens, and I can’t let it get to me or my spirit.”

She went on to say that she knows those closest to her know who she really is as a person. She seems to have a level head about life, and she knows how to handle the stresses that come along with it. Her commentary was oddly missing in a recent behind the scenes video released for the series, but Monteith did give his two cents to the changes faced by the seniors in the season finale.

What do you think? What will happen to Rachel and Finn in the fourth season of Glee?
