Britney Spears Will Cameo on Glee Tonight in a tribute episode featuring an array of her classic hit songs.

Glee has become a ratings monster thanks to witty writing, a spellbinding cast, mesmerizing dance routines, and cameos/inspiration from the moment’s most popular pop stars.

This week on a very special episode of Glee, Britney Spears takes center stage.

Last week featured up-and-coming miniature bottle rocket with a booming voice Cheyenne Jackson, who Rachel (Lea Michelle) sent to a crack house in an attempt to keep the spotlight all to herself.

In other news, Finn (Cory Monteith) gets kicked off the football team after he foolishly tries to convince to new female football coach, Coach Beiste – (pronounced “beast,” it’s French) that Artie would be effective on the football field as a “battering ram.”  Dumb move, Monteith.

This week figures to be one of the most hyped episodes of Glee yet, as it will feature pop superstar turned wack-job, turned pop-superstar again Britney Spears, in various dance numbers, which, from the episode 2 previews seem to be at the very least “I’m a Slave 4 U,” and “…Baby One More Time.”

Britney Spears appearing on the second episode of Glee is sure to not only pull in the regular female and gay crowd, but also possibly some straight-male demographic stragglers who could tune in simply to see Britney Spears back on TV again.

Glee never disappoints with their well choreographed dance numbers, and pop legend Britney Spears will certainly provide them with some worthy material.

Also, according to AOL Music, John Stamos will also make a cameo appearance in episode two tonight, as a dentist.

Glee’s Britney Spears Tribute Episode airs tonight on Fox at 8:00pm.
