Glee season 3 comes to an end next week with episode 22, “Goodbye,” and it’s time for the McKinley High seniors to graduate. What will this mean for some of the couples?
Season 3 Episode 22 “Goodbye” Promo
“In the Season Three finale, graduation is finally here, as McKinley High’s class of 2012 looks to the past and present, while contemplating the future.”
With a Nationals win now, all that’s left for some of the students to do is say goodbye. It’s time for graduation. While some will be looking to the future, others will be remembering moments from the past—and recreating them. Uh-oh, is that such a good idea?
The Glee season 3 finale promo for episode 22 “Goodbye” (below) begins with Will saying, “There’s only one thing left to do: say goodbye.” The seniors are celebrating, and of course that means some performances. It looks like Quinn and Sue’s goodbye is going to be somewhat emotional, despite Sue’s “I don’t see how that’s possible, but thank you” when she says she’s going to miss her. There are going to be tears and, unsurprisingly, a couple is going to hook up one last time. Just when you thought that things were going well for Quinn and Joe, it looks like she’s going to ruin it by being with Puck again.
Meanwhile, Kurt and Blaine are facing a long distance relationship with Blaine a junior and Kurt heading to New York. However, Kurt reassures Blaine: “I told you. I’m never saying goodbye to you.” That seems to be good news for at least one of the couples of the show for season 4. The preview offers a look at the graduation ceremony itself, including the graduates and the proud faculty watching in the audience. Also unsurprisingly, there’s going to be a Finn and Rachel kiss on stage, and the promo ends with each of them saying “I love you.” With the casting news of Kate Hudson as Rachel’s mentor in New York next year, you know where she’s going. Will Finn be joining her? That was his plan, but will that change?
