‘Glee’ Season 4 Episodes 5-6 Spoilers: ‘Grease’ and Returning Characters

Glee season 4 is currently on hiatus until November, but on November 8, it will be back with episode 5, “The Role You Were Born to Play,” followed by “Glease” on November 15, for which FOX has released episode synopses. Get ready for McKinley to put on Grease and for some familiar faces to pop up.

The school production of ‘Grease’ is underway, and Marley (Melissa Benoist), Jake (Jacob Artist), Kitty (Becca Tobin) and football player Ryder (“Glee Project” winner Blake Jenner) compete to play “Danny” and “Sandy.” Meanwhile, former Glee clubbers Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Mike (Harry Shum Jr.) return to cast the play, and Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison) struggles with a difficult decision.”

“Rachel (Lea Michele) and Kurt (Chris Colfer) pay a visit to Lima as the Glee club launches its production of “Grease.” Meanwhile, Cassandra July (guest star Kate Hudson) returns to shake things up in Rachel’s life, and Santana (Naya Rivera) comes back to lend a helping hand.”

Photo Credit: Kwaku Alston/FOX.Yes, it’s time for the Grease production at McKinley, and spoilers have already revealed that Finn’s going to be coaching glee club for Will, as well as directing the production of Grease, so that difficult decision Will has to make is pretty much already set. Will’s going to be heading to D.C., and it sounds like it’s going to be a good thing Finn’s going to have familiar faces around to help him. It’s going to be good to see Mercedes and Mike back, but what will they think of the new members of New Directions?

Meanwhile, episode 6 is going to be the one that features Rachel and Kurt’s return to McKinley for the first time since the breakups, and that’s going to be emotional. How will that go? Will they leave with things at least a little better between them and Finn and Blaine? November is going to be filled with familiar faces at McKinley, but how will the production of Grease go? With Finn directing it, if it goes off without a hitch, will he decide to think about pursuing something in this area for his future?
