‘Glee’ Spoilers: What is Ahead in Season 4?

Glee has said good-bye to its seniors, and now it is time to take a real close look at what is ahead for everyone on season 4. The graduation didn’t mean fans would say good-bye to Kurt and Rachel forever. Yes, they are headed to New York City, but Lea Michele and Chris Colfer will still a part of the show once falls arrives. This has fans wondering about what is ahead for the series next season.

Ausiello dropped a few hints about the upcoming season yesterday, and it is safe to say that fans could see a very different series next fall. With some of the cast in New York City, and the remaining cast at McKinley High, the series will have a lot of area to cover. Ausiello said the following:

“This is subject to change, but it’s my understanding that they’re taking a Lost-like approach to Season 4 — devoting whole episodes to one location or the other. In other words, the premiere might be set at NYADA with Rachel and Kurt, while Episode 2 could focus on the first day back at McKinley. Smart way to go, IMHO.”

Is it a smart way to go? Will it make fans happy? Hard to tell before the plan is put into action, but it did work for Lost. It could work here as well. As for the series going to New York City, Ryan Murphy confirmed that Glee would be filming those episode on location. They will not be using a soundstage or backlot that only looks like New York City. Murphy said the following:

“We’re coming to New York. Nothing is in stone, because we’re still budgeting, but I would love to come once every five weeks and shoot a lot of scenes there. We are 100 percent doing that; we’re not going to do it all on a soundstage. That was one of the fun reasons to do [the storyline].”

Nothing is set in stone seems to be the phrase of the day. Anything can change when it comes to this series. Are you happy with how the season finale was handled? Are you ready for season four?
