“Resident Evil: Afterlife,†or, “Biohazard IV: Afterlife,†as it is known in Japan, recently held its premiere in Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. The movie’s leads were all present, with Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter leading the way in sparkling ensembles.
A very pregnant Ali Larter showed off her baby bump in a form-fitting, sequined dress by Marchesa. Forgoing flowing caftans or voluminous dresses, Ali chose to highlight her figure in the lilac confection. She accessorized with a cord belt under her bust, Irit jewelry and glowing skin. She paired her dress with Jimmy Choo pumps.
Short and sparkling seemed to be the dress code as Milla Jovovich chose a loose gold tunic with batwing sleeves and a very short hemline – the better to show off her long, supermodel legs. Milla, who plays, “Alice,†in the “Resident Evil,†movies, matched her dress with Rene Caovilla sandals, also in gold, embellished with Swarovski crystals. She pulled her hair back to highlight a pair of large, intricate gold earrings and even swept some gold-tinted liner on her eyes, earning her a Glamour Magazine, “Do.”
Also in attendance were Wentworth Miller, brother to Ali’s “Claire†character in the movie, and Japanese cast member, Mika Nakashima.
“Resident Evil: Afterlife,†is set for release in the US on September 10th.
