‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 9 Episode 19 Sneak Peeks: An Awkward Moment and an Explosion

Grey’s Anatomy season 9 continues this week with episode 19, “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” in which the hospital deals with the many patients from a gas tanker explosion (including April’s paramedic Matthew) and Meredith and Jo help a frantic mother whose son is suffering from a mysterious illness.

They have to be very careful to keep things safe. And while April’s happy to report that the ER works, that’s when there’s an explosion, and Owen reassures a kid that they’re safe. But of course, that’s when they see someone on fire outside the hospital doors.

In the second Grey’s Anatomy season 9 episode 19 clip, Jackson’s taking care of Matthew’s injuries and tries to reassure him that he’s seen worse. The awkward situation just gets even more awkward when April walks in and stumbles her way out. “That was worse,” Jackson says.

The third “Can’t Fight This Feeling” sneak peek focuses on Sarah Chalke’s storyline as she goes over a list of possible illnesses with Meredith, and while Kawasaki disease is mentioned, her character’s son isn’t showing all the symptoms. However, Meredith decides to use her position as one of the owners of the hospital to run more tests. That’s not something she could’ve done at the beginning of the season.

In the fourth clip, Alex and Jason get into it; it doesn’t look like those two are ever going to get along. While Alex wants him to talk to a patient whose wife died, Jason argues that it’s not his responsibility and says that Alex’s problem with him isn’t about his work, but about Jo. How long is Jason going to stick around?
