‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 9 Premiere Spoilers and Title: What Comes Next?

Grey’s Anatomy returns to ABC next month with its ninth season, and it’s a premiere fans have eagerly been waiting for ever since season 8 ended how it did. What’s the latest about the premiere?

Grey’s Season 9 Episode 1 Title and Spoilers

According to TVLine, the season 9 premiere, airing on September 27, is titled “Going Going Gone.” Uh-oh, that does not sound good. However, going on what’s been revealed so far—someone else could die, Mark’s not looking good, and news about Arizona is very, very scarce, did you expect anything different? Eric Dane is “only…returning for two episodes,” and the first episode is going to be taking place a few months after the crash. Patrick Dempsey had tweeted photos from the set showing Mark in a hospital bed, and it wasn’t looking good for him. In fact, with this news and the fact that the second episode will show what happened in the woods after the season 8 finale, it’s really sounding like Mark’s going to die.

So does the Grey’s Anatomy season 9 premiere title refer to Mark’s fate or could it refer to something else, like someone else’s exit as well? Will the doctors be dealing with something else along with Mark being in the hospital and the aftermath of the crash? Not everyone is going to be staying at Seattle Grace this season, as it has been revealed that there will be a second location. Could the title be referring to whoever leaves Seattle behind? Either way, this title is foreboding and a reason to be worried about what’s coming up.

What do you think of the latest Grey’s Anatomy season 9 spoilers and title for the premiere, “Going Going Gone”?
