The GTA 5 release date could be revealed as early as this coming week. Recent reports indicate that Rockstar Game has an upcoming meeting, during which they may reveal the “Grand Theft Auto V” video game announcement many gamers are waiting for.
As reported by GameRanx.com, Take-Two Interactive, which is the parent company of 2K Games and Rockstar Games, will be holding an annual meeting for stockholders. That investor call meeting is expected to happen on September 20th, and will also be offered via a live webcast for people to watch online. Game Ranx believes that the GTA V video game might be brought up during this meeting.
The majority of the meeting should focus on Take-Two’s outlook for the upcoming fiscal year. They will also talk about other planned releases in their video game library including “Bioshock Infinite,” “Borderlands 2,” and “XCOM: Enemy Unknown.” GameRanx adds:
“We speculate that Take-Two will use the venue as an opportunity to announce the release window of the upcoming game, which has seen the release of numerous screenshots in recent weeks after a long, dry spell of basically nothing since Rockstar Games put out the game’s teaser trailer this time last year.”
Could this be the big news everyone is waiting for? If so, it seems that September 20th can’t arrive soon enough. For months, Rockstar has teased fans of GTA with screenshots, and random musings about their other titles in the popular series. Now fans are waiting to see the official game trailer for “Grand Theft Auto 5″ along with a concrete release date they can circle in red on their calendars.
Do you think that Take-Two will announce when the Rockstar Games “GTA V” title is going to be released this week, or simply tease more info about the game?
