Gunman Fires Shots at Police in Macomb, IL

A gunman has fired shots at police from a Farm King store in Macomb, Illinois. Macomb police were called at 12:45 p.m., and they responded to reports of shots. Nearby WEstern Illinois University is on alert as the standoff continues.

The gunman released his five hostages. The hostages included two men, two women and a boy who is about seven or eight years old.

There is no information about injuries, and one Farm King manager is still not accounted for. The gunman has not been seen since firing on police.
