Gwyneth Paltrow is the latest star to Gleek out on the popular series Glee.
Gwyneth joins the cast as Holly Holiday, a substitute teacher for Mr Schuester. Holly performs a mash-up of “Singin’ in the Rain” and Rihanna’s “Umbrella,” as well as a clean version of Cee Lo Green’s catchy tune, “F— You.”
Gwyneth will do the clean radio edit version of Cee Lo’s song retitled “Forget You” and it’ll be included on the Glee: The Music, Volume 4 soundtrack.
We’ve long known that Paltrow has some great singing chops as seen in her catalog of movie work, so it seems a logical move that she’d guest star on Glee and belt out a few amazing tunes while she’s at it. It’s also said that like so many others, Gwyneth is a fan of the show. She will wind up with three or four solos for her appearance.
Judging from the promo video out now this will be an episode you’ll not want to miss.
The episode is set to air on November 16 on Fox.
Tonight Gwyneth makes her live singing debut on the Country Music Awards. Consider this a teaser for what we’ll be seeing on the 16th.
Will you make a point to tune in to see Gwyneth’s cameo? Are you a Gleek or a Gwyneth Paltrow fan?
