Harry Styles and One Direction Win Big at BBC 1 Teen Awards

Harry Styles and his One Direction cohorts—Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik—won big at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards in London on Sunday.

According to a report from Just Jared, 1D took the award for Best British Single for their son One Thing, as well as winning in the Best British Album category.

One Directioners“This is absolutely amazing. We have to start off by thanking our incredible fans, it’s been an unbelievable two years for us,” they said in bits and pieces—a real group effort—as they accepted their awards.

It’s been an eventful year so far for the One Direction guys. From their U.S. tour to their many recent appearances on award shows, and the enormous honor of playing at the London Olympics Closing Ceremony—Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik have experienced stardom unlike anything they ever imagined.

And now they’re winners at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards as well. Congratulations to One Direction! Fans no doubt expect even more excitement from the boy band in the coming months.
