Has Kate Middleton Got Tragic Baby News?

Rumors are circulating that Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton may have suffered a miscarriage while Prince William was away.

The couple, who married in April in a large ceremony in London, are under a great deal of pressure to conceive. It is being reported that Kate may struggle with this, though – it is thought that she may be prone to complications – and may have already suffered a miscarriage since marrying the Prince.

Source have said that Kate’s mother-in-law, Camilla Parker-Bowles, has been discussing the Duchesses fertility with her friends, and has been overheard.

“Health problems from Kate’s adolescence raised red flags that may have an impact on her ability to conceive.”

The pressure doesn’t look to be reducing, though, with Royal family biographer Andrew Morton stating; “If Kate is not pregnant within the next nine months, she’ll be defying 200 years of British tradition.”

There has been no official statement based on the reports, which began in America’s Globe magazine – which has caused some to believe that the rumors are true. Kate and William have recently retreated to their home together, asking for privacy after being a media focal point for months. After their huge wedding in April, the couple have visited both Canada and America, and undergone training for hostage situations.

They are now thought to be settling in to family life, although if Kate really has had a miscarriage, she may be taking some time to look after herself. Prince William is thought to be back at work. In Canada Kate sparked rumors by admitting she was broody after meeting an adorable little girl, who presented her with a bouquet of flowers. She also said that she would ‘start thinking about children soon’, at her engagement.

British monarchy tradition states that Kate should give birth within a year of marraige – the Queen gave birth to Prince Charles exactly a year after her wedding to Prince Phillip, and Princess Diana followed the same tradition by giving birth to Prince William 11 months after her wedding to Prince Charles.

Let’s hope the Royal couple are successful in their attempts to conceive, if they are currently trying, and that Kate is being looked after by Prince William, sister Pippa Middleton and her family if the rumours of a miscarriage are true – she’ll certainly need plenty of support, but the Princess has shown her enviable strength and resilience before, so she is sure to be okay.
