Seems the parts of the health bill that kicked in have good intentions, but without regulating premiums, could backfire. Insurance companies that now can’t drop you, have to accept you with preexisting conditions, and have to pay for things they have refused to pay for in the past will want to find a way to make up this new cost, and the way they will do it is by raising the premiums. That is how all companies think. If a new regulation is passed by he government (and the government does not pass regulations against passing this new cost off to the customers) then the companies always pass this cost off onto the customer. Recently happened on my phone bill. I agree with this part of the health bill, but now how it is being handled.
