I hear the whistle blowing

Train racing around the bend

The rails shine in the sunlight

Off into the distance with no end

The barren desert all around me

A cactus grows here and there

I stare out the window

Realizing what do I care

What difference is it how far I go

I can travel from sea to shining sea

I’ll never find the one I love

He keeps escaping me

I remember when he tipped his hat

and said his fond adieu

My heart sighed and broke into little pieces

Can’t fix it, not even with crazy glue

The challenge for ThursdayMarch 27,2014 is to create a post about heart.

I am still limiting the rules/guidelines to just a few. There are only two rules this week. The first rule to remember is to include the word “heart”3/20/2014″ somewhere in the title. A second rule is to be sure to tag it with Thurs WE, 3/20/14, heart.
