Heat advisory for parents and grandparents

Here in Oklahoma we are on day 20 of heat over 100 degrees. People and pets are dying. In the last two days, a little boy who was 8-years-old, and a 3-year-old in separate instances got locked in cars, and died. (The 8-year-old locked himself in the trunk playing around and couldn’t be found until it was too late.)

As July and August are facing us head on, I thought it would be a good idea to remind parents to keep their vehicles locked, and simply know where their children are. Children need to be watched especially in this kind of heat.

I hate to turn the news on lately. People are drowning or dying of the heat. God, I wish it would rain.
