Heading Into Game 3

A great game goes down tonight between the Miami Heat and the Boston Celtics. Both of these teams are looking to continue their run towards the championship, and they will do everything in their power to come out with a win tonight.

Tonight’s game is big for both teams. The Celtics will try to get a win while they are at home and Miami will try to steal one while on the road, which is no easy feat for any team.

Miami Up Early

Miami currently leads the series 2-0, and they will be looking to put a strangle hold on the Celtics tonight with a win. The Heat have been looking great as of late. The final score of game 2 ended up being 115-111 in overtime. Lebron James had the chance to end the game in the fourth quarter with a last second shot, but he missed it sending the game into overtime.

James ended the game with 34 points and 7 assists. Haslem helped out with offensive rebounds, and Dwayne Wade also had a great game. If they can continue this type of play from all of their players, then they should be well on their way to face either the Thunder or the Spurs.

For the Celtics, they almost pulled of the upset as they were down for much of game 2. Rondo had one of his best performances scoring 44 points with 10 assists, but it was not enough to overtake the Heat.

Keys To Victory

Game 3 will come down to who can get an early lead and keep it. For Miami, they need James and Wade to continue their dominance inside and outside the paint. They also need production from Haslem and Miller from the outside to take the load of James and Wade

For the Celtics, they need Rondo to have another stellar game. They also need Garnett and Pierce to pick up their production from the field if they want to have a shot at bringing the series to 2-1. They are at home so they should get some much needed energy from their crowd.
