How to Make Holiday Chicken for an Army of Folks

Arrggg! Holidays can be a stressful time of year with all the family and friends that come together to celebrate these events. Cooking is one of those duties during these events that can add to the stress. What does one do for the ton of guests that seem to pass through your home over the holidays? How can you feed them all and try to keep your sanity at the same time? Here is a simple recipe that is sure to be a stress releaser and a crowd pleaser!

Difficulty: Easy

Things You’ll Need:

24 pieces of chicken 
1/4 pound of fresh mushrooms, sliced 
2 cans of cream of chicken soup 
1 can of cream of mushroom soup 
1/4 cup of dry white wine 
cooked rice 



Step 1: Brown the chicken in butter. It does not have to be cooked all the way through.  Place the chicken into a deep casserole dish.

Step 2: Brown the mushrooms in the same butter.

Step 3: Mix all 3 cans of undiluted soup until blended well. Pour the mixture over the chicken.

Step 4: Add 1/4 cup of white wine. Add the browned mushrooms and place on top. This can be refrigerated overnight to enhance the flavors.

Step 5:  Bake at 350 degrees for 1 and 1/2 hours until chicken is cooked thoroughly. This dish will serve approximately 12.
