The Ind vs. WI 2011 3rd Test begins day 1 of the latest series on Wednesday, July 6th. The continuing overseas tour featuring India vs. West Indies will shift to Roseau with a time of 10:00 AM local time.
According to the Ind vs. WI schedule, this 3rd test will take place at Windsor Park located in Roseau, Dominica. The games will run through Sunday, July 10th if necessary. Each day’s games will begin at 10 AM local time. India will attempt to dominate with their batsmen and bowlers in the West Indies.
In the current ICC ODI Championship rankings, India is second, bested only by Australia’s team. Australia has 6,577 points and a 129 rating. India, which has a 119 rating, has played the most matches of any of the squads though with 58. Meanwhile, West Indies ranks eighth on the list with a rating of 76.
Of note for this matchup, the West Indies squad has dropped its batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan. They’ve replaced the struggling player with Kieran Powell, just 21 years old from the Leeward Islands. Sarwan produced just 83 runs during four Test series prompting the decision to drop him and get a replacement.
India has clearly been showing its talents and dominance throughout these test series in the West Indies as they played the first two series in Barbados and Jamaica. Now they look to put on another show in Dominica for cricket fans overseas. After this series, India will travel over to play England.
