Fans seem to be wondering, is Lil Bow Wow dead, or did Bow Wow die? The rapper, now known as “Bow Wow,” hasn’t died, but there’s seems to be some sort of death rumors going around the Internet. Rest assured that Bow Wow, real name Shad Gregory Moss, is not dead as of this report.

It seems that once again, a cruel celebrity death hoax is circulating around Twitter. There’s been several tweets about Bow Wow dead recently including the following:

apparently bow wow is dead, these rumours are getting ridic now

Bow Wow is not dead … neither is Lil Wayne, don’t believe what you read.

Apparently, a website called CNN Breaking News went as far as to make up a fake CNN death news story about the rap star committing suicide by emptying out a bottle of Valium. This report is not confirmed or reported by any major news outlets. Bow Wow simply joins a list of other celebs to be falsely reported as dead via Twitter. Others have included Will Smith, Bill Cosby, Adam Sandler and Justin Bieber.

Big things are on the way from Bow Wow as he’s got an album, which is going to be called Underrated or Greenlight 4, due out in November. The album will have guest appearances from some top talents in the rap game including Fabolous, Nas, The Game, Lil Wayne, Lloyd Banks, Nicki Minaj and Snoop Dogg. Also expected on the album is Sean Kingston, the singer who many thought was close to death after a Jet Ski accident in South Florida earlier this year. Both of these musical stars are probably happy the rumors are just that.

As for fans of Bow Wow, this should be music to your ears. The young rap star, who has outgrown his “Lil” prefix to the Bow Wow name, will live on and release what could be quite the album later this year!
