Okay, so the first Star Wars movie was released on May 25, 1977.  But, May 25th just doesn’t lend itself to cheesy film-related puns the way May the 4th does. So, there.

Not sure how to celebrate this momentous occasion? Here are a few ideas:

Shop:

LEGO is offering free shipping on orders of $75 or more, plus a free LEGO Star Wars sticker sheet with any LEGO Star Wars purchase through 11:59 EST. See the LEGO website for full details.

Waste time at work:

Become a part of the movie by “Star Wars-ing” yourself on JibJab.

Peruse the official Star Wars website.

Leave work early:

Go home and have a Star Wars movie marathon. Don’t forget to pick up a lightsaber at the toy store on your way home.

Convert to Jediism:

Here are some of your online Jediism options… “Temple of the Jedi Order,”  the “Jedi Church,” , and “The Order of the Jedi.”
