The Simpsons never do anything small, so when it came time for their 20th anniversary special they decided to add two of the coolest elements you could add to a TV show – make it in 3-D and On Ice! Now, if only it was a musical. . .

Actually, The Simpsons 20th Anniversary Special follows Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Morgan Spurlock (“Super Size Me,” “30 Days”, L) as he takes on the enormous task of documenting 20 years of the global phenomenon that is The Simpsons.

But first, the evening begins with the 450th episode, “Once Upon a Time in Springfield” It airs tonight, Sunday, Jan. 10 (8:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

It’s now the longest running comedy in TV history thanks to you, the fans.

When I think of Simpsons, I think of Comic Book Guy, the monorail, the prank calls to the bar (Seymour Butts), Treehouse of Horrors and of course Bart’s famous “Don’t have a cow, man.”

What are your favorite Simpsons characters or moments?
