Good news, Daniel Craig fans:  HeÂ’s back as Bond!  Craig first played James Bond in “Casino Royale” in 2006 and again in “Quantum of Solace” in 2008. The newest installment in the storyline will be his third time playing the infamous British spy.

People Magazine announced that Craig will revise his role as the latest in a long line of 007s in the 23rd movie of the James Bond franchise Tuesday afternoon.  It’s due to be released on November 9, 2012.

Now the big question on everyone’s minds is who will be the new Bond Girl?  There has been speculation that it could be Rachel Weisz, who is Craig’s real-life love interest.  Weisz would definitely make a great Bond Girl, and could go down in history as one of the best.  Other actresses who have the right to claim they’ve been a Bond girl include Jane Seymour, Kim Basinger, Denise Richards, Eva Green and Caterina Murino.

James Bond has been a cultural phenomenon since Sean Connery first played him in “Dr. No” in 1962.  Since Connery, there have been five other actors to hold the role over nearly seven decades, including George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and, finally, Daniel Craig.  Bond fans, men and women alike, each have their favorite Bond actor for their own personal reasons.  Many like Connery the best, as he’s the original, while others enjoy the younger version Craig portrays.  No matter who your favorite is, you can continue to watch him on video, DVD, blu-ray and on television during select “James Bond” marathons.

The newest James Bond feature being added to the collection has yet to be named, and is referred to so far as “Bond 23.”  More information on the film has yet to be released; however, it has been reported that Dame Judi Dench will be returning as M.

So now it’s time for everyone to start talking Bond again: who’s your favorite Bond?  Your favorite Bond girl?  Who will be the next Bond girl?  Enjoy the speculation!
