Monday night was the second annual American Country Awards in Las Vegas, and coming up one of the biggest winners was Jason Aldean.

Aldean, who has risen to the top of the country music charts in the past few years since he first came onto the scene, took home six awards Monday night, including the highly coveted Artist of the Year.

“This is getting ridiculous,” Aldean told the crowds as he accepted the award, adding, “I don’t know what else to say. It’s been a crazy year.” He also took home Record of the Year for “My Kinda Party”.

These awards aren’t the only recent measure of Jason Aldean’s success, either. Tuesday morning, it was announced that he’s been asked to sign on to the 2012 CMA Music Festival, which will feature other such popular acts as The Band Perry.

What do you think of Jason Aldean having taken home the big awards of the night? Worthy, or would you rather have seen someone else?
