Jeff Probst Reveals His “Survivor: Nicaragua” Winner Predictions

Jeff Probst has revealed his predictions for the winner of “Survivor: Nicaragua.” Well, sort of. It’s more of a process of elimination. Here’s what the “Survivor” expert thinks about our remaining contestants. Of course, “Survivor” fans know to take these predictions with a grain of salt. Anything can happen on this show!

Jan 09, 2009 - Los Angeles, California, USA - Host JEFF PROBST at the 'Survivor' 10th Anniversary Party held on the CBS Studio Lot. © Red Carpet Pictures Jeff thinks that Dan doesn’t stand a chance at winning. His exact words on his blog were, “I just can’t see a scenario in which Dan could win this game.” Does anyone disagree with this? Dan is clearly struggling to hang on, he seems like he’s in constant pain during the challenges.

Also predicted not to win? Jeff doesn’t think that Purple Kelly will win, unless she drastically changes her game play. She’s sweet and likeable, but Jeff thinks she “hasn’t earned it.” Kelly needs a power play at this point in the game and it really doesn’t seem like she has it in her!

Jeff Probst also thinks that Sash is “in trouble.” When Brenda was voted out, it made his position in the tribe shaky at best. Will the tribe keep him around? It’s anyone’s guess, but it isn’t looking good for him at this point.

Naonka doesn’t stand much of a chance at the million either. She’s constantly starting trouble and the survivors won’t tolerate much more of it. After the last episode aired, viewers got a sneak peek of next week’s episode. It looks like Naonka will do something in the next episode that will tick off most of the tribe. Jeff thinks that even if she somehow were to end up in the final two with Purple Kelly, she would need to pray.

So, who stands a chance at actually winning “Survivor: Nicaragua?” Jeff thinks that the two people with the best chance at this stage in the game are Jane and Holly. Jeff thinks that Jane is “lurking in the shade,” and says that people forget about her but if she makes it to the end, she could win. Besides, she is awesome! Who didn’t root for her to win the immunity challenge? Jeff explains that Holly is “the redeemer.” He thinks that a lot of folks have forgotten about her first few days in the game.

That leaves Chase, Benry and Fabio. Probst thinks that Benry is a “long shot,” Chase is a “wildcard” likely to screw up his own game and Fabio might be starting to figure out the game.
